Nationwide Sports Radio announced today the addition of the “Shake, Rattle, and Roll” hosted by WWE legend the Honky Talk Man and Steve Wilton. Nationwide Sports Radio listeners now have access to a show that is considered the cutting edge wrestling-based radio program available.

“Nationwide Sports Radio was aggressively seeking a radio program that would enhance our overall coverage and footprint in the pro-wrestling landscape. Who better to help us reach that goal than one of the most recognizable faces in wrestling history?” said Danny Echols, Director of Public Relations.

“What made HTM matches so special during his WWE career were not just his impressive ring skills but he was the greatest entertainer in the sport. Love him or hate him you left entertained. He and Steve have embraced this same model for the radio program”

HTM is world famous for his WWE career, where he held the Intercontinental Championship for a record 64 weeks-- A record that still stands to this day. Recognized as the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time, HTM has faced all the greats of the squared circle including Hulk Hogan, Jake Roberts, Ricky Steamboat, Dusty Rhodes, Randy Savage, The Ultimate Warrior, The Legion of Doom, George Steele and Bruno Sammartino.

As active as ever, HTM tours the independent circuit visiting his fans from all over the world. Because of this busy schedule at certain times of the year the show only broadcast once a month. However, Nationwide Sports Radio will fill the empty time slots with the “Best of Shake, Rattle, and Roll”.

Likewise, Wilton brings a wealth of knowledge to Nationwide Sports Radio as well. Wilton has managed and helped promote the careers of such legends as HTM, Sgt. Slaughter, Hacksaw Jim Duggan and The Ultimate Warrior.

“Wilton and HTM are the complement each other. Both are great individually but together put together the best wrestling based talk show on the air.” Echols said in closing.

The ownership group of Nationwide Sports Radio, Elite Media Partners, recently merged four sports talk stations into one globally attractive station.  As a result, EMP will release the new programing lineup and schedule on January 21, 2012.
